Kestener Herrenberg

Wild, untamed and irresistible.

Inspired by our Ouessant sheep, which graze through the vineyards of the Kestener Herrenberg They look cute, but they're crafty – just like this wine. A Bacchus that breaks with convention and shows how much character old vines (planted in 1971) can have.

  • The kick: Explosive aromatics meet grip. Thanks to 4 days of skin contact time (Skin Contact) This Pet-Nat displays an exciting texture and an invigorating bitter note alongside the typical elderflower and exotic fruit. It is fresh, cheeky and just a little bit “naughty”.

  • The craft: Consistent Méthode Ancestrale. spontaneously fermented, unfiltered, vegan and without added sulphur The wine remained on the lees until bottling in November and is disgorged "on demand" for maximum freshness.

  • The vibe: A wine with a wink. Perfect for moments when you want to break the rules for a moment.

  • Food Pairing: A highlight for the adventurous home cook. Excellent with Vietnamese summer rolls with lots of coriander, baked feta cheese with honey and thyme or crisp-fried Padrón peppers.
